One of the two indicator lights on the front of the camera has turned red. It looks like some sort of error code.

It seems to be related to a recent firmware update that was installed.

What is going on? How do I fix it?

It is an error code.

It has to do with the handling of the USB Bus Reset that Windows sends when the computer is rebooting.

For the AEye to be able to handle this properly, there was a minor hardware fix that is required for older versions of the AEye. AEye cameras that were shipped before September 2014, probably still need this hardware fix. Please contact support for an RMA.

If you already have the fix, and you are having this issue, you may need a firmware update.

Please see the Firmware section of our support page and download the latest firmware for the AEye camera.
