Quick Glance prompts for new information when a new eye tracker is plugged in.

QuickACCESS doesn't have the same prompts.

How do I change the Lens focal length in QuickACCESS? How do I change the working distance for the eye tracker in QuickACCESS?

Adjusting the Lens Focal Length

To change the lens setting in QuickACCESS, go to the System Tray Icon > Edit Ini File > EyeTracker > LensFocalLength and change the value from 1.6 to the focal length in centimeters.

If it is an AEye based camera, change it under AEye instead of under EyeTracker.

Then click Apply.

Adjusting the Working Distance

Changing the working distance is a similar process.

A quick side note

Note that the working distance is tied to the focus of the camera lens. So if you change the working distance value, without adjusting the focus of the lens, then you probably won't see much of a difference. Basically behind the scenes, the working distance and lens focal length both contribute to the pixels across the eye measurement (also known as pixel density) for the image, and affect the size of pupils that can be found by the eye tracking algorithm.

To change the working distance setting in QuickACCESS, go to the System Tray Icon > Edit Ini File > EyeTracker > Distance and change the value from 60 or 65 to the working distance in centimeters.
