I would like to use my VT3 XL eye tracker https://www.eyetechds.com/vt3xl.html on a 75" screen. Can I do this?

Yes. When using a larger screen you want to make sure to maintain a 30 degree vertical and 60 degree horizontal view of the screen. When you mount the VT3 XL eye tracker directly to the bottom edge of the screen we recommend 75" or smaller.

Here is the formula we used to calculate this.

W = 2Dtan(30 degrees) = Display Width

H = .5*W = Display Height

D = distance from user to display. It is assumed the eye tracker is on the bottom of the display.

For instance, if D = 180 cm (about 6 ft.) then W = about 206 cm and H = about 103 cm.

If you place the eye tracker in front of the TV screen then you can of course use larger screens.
